Golf insurance

Not a lot to report, did a Google search for golf insurance and found SportsCover Direct. Everything seemed fine so I purchased a policy but the real test will be if I ever have to make a claim! Reviewed on: 25th September 2024

It's great to read a policy where each paragraph of small print is reassuring rather than worrying. A definition of what they mean by professional on sport for example, cover to claim for entry fees to competitions you have to miss due to injury. Getting cover for hang gliding including competitions has become quite difficult, but thankfully this company doesn't confuse it with paragliding where serious accidents are more common. This the easiest company I have even dealt with and simple, easy, understandable to insure with them and very affordable. Got a question, just ring and your question’s are answered immediately and explained in a courteous manner so you can feel comfortable with your decision to have used Sports Cover Insurance in the first place, I am. Swing your golf club knowing you’re covered.

I have been with this company for a number of years now, fortunately I have not had to use the services offered, however I go out onto the golf course safe in the knowledge that I have sufficient insurance cover, that is very reassuring.
