Without Thames credit union loans i wouldn't have be...

Without Thames credit union loans i wouldn't have been able to purchase my car in 2020, or had extra spending money for holidays, DIY projects, Birthdays, Christmases and tight spots over the last 6 years being a member. Thamesbank credit union is a trusted reliable realistic organisation that plays an inspirational and important role in asisting the everyday person's life, aspirations and emergency. The union has most importantly taught financial literacy knowledge and structure through practical participation utilising their loans system. An absolute statement in the community especially with the open invitations to members to join meetings and discussions giving opportunities to be involved essentially ensuring they are always assessing their approch & business model keeping consistent in being a credit union made for the people, evolving with the people, genuinely to Help the people! So great most people i inform about Thamesbank credit union think its a hoax until they see the proof in the pudding! Can't fault the them its a great team and I personally appreciate My Thamesbank credit union greatly! Reviewed on: 25th April 2026

Joined no welcome letter or anything. Applied for a loan had to chase it for over a week. Asked for id and a five pound deposit. When asked for a update I got told I needed to send proof of that 5 pound deposit and there was no loan or my id on my account!! Bear in mind same person had emailed previously for id. Then they recalled that email and sent what they should of advised. Then turned me down for the loan. When all in all if this is how they operate im glad I wont be saving my money with them either. Poor customer service and staff who dont know what's going on. Probably won't try to use a credit union again for savings or a loan Reviewed on: 2nd December 2025

I recommend Thamesbank credit union!

They are very friendly on the phone if I have any issues and very quick to sort it out, very quick too with the loans and any paperwork that needs to be signed!! Reviewed on: 8th April 2024
