Above n beyond

I survived a stroke in 2019 at the age of 46 snd trying to get life insurance was infuriating and depressing Sam Horace at the insurance surgery couldn't have been more helpful (I think he wears his pants outside his trousers like superheroes)he managed to get me life cover st a decent rate without me having to jump through a a hula hoop totally brilliant no fuss no making plumber noises completely changed my view on the insurance sector It's hard enough after a stroke worrying about what's round the corner without worrying if your leaving your family high n dry I can't praise this company enough and their calm and no fuss attitude is a breath of fresh air Reviewed on: 22nd September 2022

Fantastic company, couldn't recommend them enough

I had such a great experience with The Insurance Surgery, it's rare that you come across an insurance company that provides such fantastic customer experience. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for life insurance. I've found it difficult to get life insurance due to complex health issues and they were so helpful, friendly, really knowledgeable and never once gave up on finding me insurance. You really can 'have your cake and eat it'

A1 service from the beginning. My own medical history meant the application took some time but Tom Hayes and his colleagues were there all the way. If you want a competent, professional company to deal with, you have found the right one. Fantastic service for rare condition not often funded

I tried every company possible for a rare condition even though I have no symptoms and fine I was always rejected outright without discussion, the company took time to learn the condition learn about me and through medical reports and detailed conversation were able to find me life cover Reviewed on: 22nd September 2022

An amazing and confident life assurance experience

As a senior citizen I was browsing the internet in search of a company who could provide me with detailed information with regard to purchasing a guaranteed life assurance plan as all of the insurance companies I had earlier contacted were stating that such a policy could only provide cover for me either 6 or 12 months after my initial payment. My internet search revealed the name of the Insurance Surgery and I decided to make the call. I was greeted politely by a female employee of the Insurance Surgery who promptly transferred my call to an insurance advisor named Sam C. From advising the aforementioned employee of my personal circumstances particularly with regard to my age and that all previous enquiries had resulted in me being advised that I had to wait 6 to 12 months before any plan would become operational Sam C immediately informed me that the Insurance Surgery could provide me with a plan that would immediately provide cover when I signed the necessary documents. My initial reaction that I was dealing with an insurance company and employee who provided excellent customer service, was putting my insurance needs first and had an exceptional knowledge of the vast array of assurance policies currently available in the market place. At the conclusion of each phone call Sam C always emphasised that he was readily available to speak to me regarding any further questions I may have and provided me with his direct contact details; this factor quickly persuaded me that I was dealing with an experienced advisor who had a high energy level in advisory terms and that I would not have any problem contacting him in the future. I was highly satisfied with the customer service and professional advice I received consequently the entire administration work involved in joining the policy that Sam C recommended was promptly dispatched, completed and quickly returned by me. Helped me find insurance after a mental health issue

In late 2021 I suffered a relapse in my mental health. Luckily I recovered but I was in the process of buying a new home with a mortgage. I wanted to ensure the mortgage cost was covered should the worst happen. Many insurance brokers told me there was no way I could get life coverage without waiting a year after my mental health relapse. Luckily I found The Insurance Surgery, who was able to find me a reputable life insurance provider at a fantastic price. I am so grateful to Tom and the team for giving me peace of mind during a very tough period of my life. I even got a £50 Amazon voucher for referring another person to them.
