Best on the UK market but not perfect

Moved from Freetrade and opened my ISA with Trading212 due to having more stocks, more worldwide markets, no FX fee for overseas stocks, web platform and free S&S ISA. As a long time investor I'm very pleased with the platform. Trading212 are not perfect however, two of my main gripes are: 1. Communication and transparency, which they are continuously working on, still needs to be better. A lot of their key and important communications are on their forum and not social media, they are not promoting themselves as they should. Also transparency when there's downtime or issues which are not logged or centralised somewhere for people to see. Again, you have to browse through the community forum to be aware of things. 2. The trading platform. Trades are done via IB (Interactive Brokers) and they do not own their own platform, hence any new stocks requests from the community which are not on IB won't be able to be added. Also the low volume market orders which are executed via SETSqx are literally anyone's luck when, how and at what price they get executed. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

my review is firstly is a free platform plenty of choice not as many choices then ig or Hargreaves but they charge a fortune withdrawals is easy and in my account next day no issues for me. Reviewed on: 16th September 2020

Simply the best trading platform

I think Trading 212 is one of the best things to ever happen in my financial journey. The ability to open an ISA account is an added bonus. For me this is the best savings account with far greater returns than the silly bank interest rates. You can build your own investment portfolio that is as diversified as you want. As long as you do your homework and put in the effort to educate yourself about trading then the sky is the limit. Just don't fool yourself and think you can start trading blindly just because it's free and hope to make yourself richer. Reviewed on: 13th November 2019
