Underhanded Scam like Company

Through my Lloyds Bank Mobile Phone App, there was a button that said "Check Your Credit Score", click, asks a few questions to Ascertain my identity, no problem there, you certainly do get to view your credit score, at the cost of an undisclosed £1.50 search fee, and you get signed into a monthly payment direct debit of around £35.00 Please beware of sure bad business practices, they get their data from a company called Credit Union, please complain to them and your bank, the company UK Credit Score are a rip off company. Just a glorified theft company. A simple con, a "free" month (£1.90), and a recurring fee afterwards (35.95). For absolutely nothing. Impossible to get a refund or cancel as it classed as a debit (like you would use in a shop) and NOT a Direct Debit or Standing Order so is invisible when checking your bank statement. Avoid this scam company at all costs. Once my details were taken for a “free” trial, £1.95 was taken from maya count instantly and i suspect that my details have been sold to scam companies as I have been bombarded with scam calls, text messages and emails from other scammers around the world. Despite emailing, using online assistant and eventually speaking to someone live to cancel my account, a further £19.95 has been taken from my account and I have been told I have no recourse for a refund and lied to about them having no notification of my cancellation request. Signed me up to a pay subscription by stealth

I looked at my credit score, they asked me to verify myself bu providing a Visa card no. I gave them it and they took £1.50 as 14 days free trial…. Then it would be £35.00.+ Managed to cancel on the phone, and with my bank, so no harm done. A bit sneaky though. Reviewed on: 17th June 2021

1. To the best of my recollection, they signed me up without my agreement and, 2. I informed them I wanted any payments taken to be refunded; to the best of my knowledge, this has not yet happened and, 3. The have one of these "no-reply" email addresses, which makes communications with them impossible. Reviewed on: 15th October 2020

Fraudulent

Took money from my account in advance and got nothing in return for my payment couldn’t see my credit report because they said my details were wrong but still charged me . Customer service manager put the phone down on me twice , I then spoke to an advisor who said the manager would ring me back but not only did she not ring back but blocked my number disgusting behaviour and she is supposed to be customer service manager . I requested copy of the recording of the conversation but they did not respond to this Reviewed on: 11th February 2020
