Great service for somone with pre existing conditions

I have a pre existing condition called Familial Hypercholestraemia that most travel insurers seem to regard as too high risk to insure, despite the fact that my cholestrol levels are regularly monitored by a lipid clinic and I am otherwise healthy. World First are the only insurer I have found that consistently offer me an affordable policy with an acceptable level of cover. The online screening process is really simple and means I can purchase online in my own time without having to make phone calls as some other insurers require which inevitably ends up in being on hold for extended periods of time. I am, however, yet to make a claim on a policy so cannot pass judgement on their claims handling. Reviewed on: 9th October 2024
