Great card for a traveller and a foodie

If you are a traveller, foodie and looking for a good reward credit card in London, this is the card for you. From what I can see, you can get around 2.2 - 2.5% cashback for restaurants/pubs/cafe redemption which by far the best in the market. This is a 'true' redemption as these places are never discounted. With the recent crowdfunding, I am looking forward to see Yonder expanding into other cities. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024

Beware: Issues arise when facing fraudulent activity

Don't be misled by their marketing claims suggesting they are a superior alternative to the American Express credit card. Despite paying an annual fee under the assumption that additional services such as purchase protection would provide value, you'll find little assistance when faced with fraudulent activity. Instead of resolving the issue satisfactorily, all they can offer is adherence to MasterCard rules and a request for payment towards the fraudulent charges in a manner that lacks urgency and empathy. Given their reluctance to provide assistance to customers during fraudulent activity, I am not convinced that their other services will offer timely support. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024

Great all round credit card for a new generation!

Great all round credit card for a new generation! Firstly, the concept of using points to pay for meals and other experiences is amazing anyway but with Yonder you can actually accumulate enough points pretty quickly, unlike other points based reward systems. Every month there is a wide selection of restaurants to choose from, both geographically and in terms of cuisine. Customer service is prompt and issues are resolved immediately. The travel insurance included is highly useful and the ability to use the card abroad without any random blocks being placed on it is also very helpful. Receiving notifications on your phone with every purchase is useful too and keeps you aware of spending. I also like the fact that you can set up an autopay to pay off the card weekly. The only drawback is that the rewards are limited to London. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024
