In addition to being efficient in the unfortunate need of making a claim. You can actually speak to people easily about admin needs. The cost of the insurance I needed was fair and even after having to make a claim, wasn't bank breaking at all. Ensuring my loyalty longer term by good service and fairness. having my sail boat insured with GJW for two years,...

having my sail boat insured with GJW for two years, this years renewal was sixty pounds more expensive, i have had no claims and my boat is very well maintained. when i spoke to the lady she didn't have a good reason for the increase, the lady was very nice and of course its not her fault for the increase. added to this if you want pay monthly there's now interest charged. the staff are lovely but since being taken over its not so customer focused and appears more about getting more money from customers. Brilliant Service

A friend recommended that I insure my narrowboat with GJW. The application process was really easy and fast and cover was arranged immediately. Not only that but when I moved my boat to a new marina, I advised them of my change of address and there was no fuss and no additional charges. Unlike my car insurance company who wanted £120 to change my address. Reviewed on: 11th September 2025
