Opened an account in 2008 when I found myself with no savings and on my own, my mum recommended the credit union as a way to start saving and if I needed a loan in the future for the more expensive items ie fridge / washing machine etc that I might need when setting up a new home the credit union didn’t charge extortionate APR . It was the best decision I ever made, ended up with good savings and knowing I could borrow if i needed to. Reviewed on: 24th July 2025

Saving with Acorn has really helped for big savings!
