Benson

We have owned now four cavalier King Charles Spaniels and never insured any at al till we purchased Benson our beautiful Ruby. All have had minor issues which are common to the breed. Sadly when Benson was only about 14 months old he appeared very sad and lethargic, wouldn’t eat or drink for about 3days we took him to the vets and he was admitted overnight with suspected Cushing disease. Blood test were run and the following day we were told he had Addisons syndrome something which I had never heard of. We are so pleased that we insured this little beauty with Agria as he now needs medication to assist with his condition for the rest of his life. I could not recommend Agria highly enough as they have been fantastic with out vets in dealing with this. Thanks Peter Reviewed on: 22nd July 2022

Highly recommend for dog insurance

Simply the best pet insurance

We have had our 2 dogs insured with Agria for some years now and they have always paid the claims, quickly and fairly. Earlier this year our one dog received extensive veterinary treatment at Liverpool veterinary hospital from which he recovered well. However, whilst travelling abroad with our dogs, he became very ill and had to be put to sleep, because we have always paid extra in our policy to cover our dogs whilst abroad for 3 months Agria dealt with all claims quickly and easily and were very understanding, we really couldn't ask for better service. Support when you need it most

In the past 3 years we have lost two golden retrievers to cancer. Having Agria insurance for both dogs meant we could give them to care and treatment they needed right up until the end. Both had unrelated different cancers and both had numerous vet trips and scans etc. because we had insurance we did not have to worry about the costs which with CT and MRI scans ran into the thousands. Peace of mind

reasonable cost for cover

Previous experience of pet insurance has not been great. So far so good with Agria, time will tell as our puppy ages. I have found that premiums increase after the ages of 8-10 despite never making a claim! I am hoping this does not happen with this company, which appears to have better morals.
