Cat and dog insurance It was easy to set up my 5 weeks free and then continue to a full policy for my puppy’s insurance. I also have cover for my cat, she loved her hamper! Reviewed on: 17th April 2026

Reliable, caring and explicit coverage

It is so valuable to have a pet insurance company whose entire focus is animal insurance. I know when I contacted them with regard to the best coverage for my kittens, then were very knowledgable about cats. They were also very supportive with my 14 year old cat passed away. We had to say goodbye to our 5 year old cat during lockdown. He lost his fight with cancer. Agria’s agents were brilliant during the claim. They were efficient and sympathetic. We still have 3 cats insured with Africa. Reviewed on: 16th August 2020

Sadly my puppy was diagnosed with a congenital kidney issue. Her kidneys hadn’t grown. She was 6 months old. The vets tried everything but tests/scans Showed nothing could be done. The staff at Agria were lovely and sympathetic. The vet bills ran to almost £2000. These were paid promptly with no quibble. I have taken out my insurance with Agria again for my new puppy and I had no hesitation with this decision. I always recommend Agria to other dog walkers and to new owners. Stanley feels loved

When we got our cat Stanley we found Agria very helpful and quick to set up to ensure he didnt go a day without being protected. They're always on hand for advice and I think I for the money they're brilliant, an absolute bargain for professional work. Reviewed on: 16th August 2020

Total reassurance for an older, rescue dog

Agria gave us a very comforting insurance scheme for our nine year old cocker spaniel rescue dog. Other insurance companies do not insure older dogs and certainly not so comprehensively at a very acceptable rate. I was very pleased with their help and have recommended them to several people.
