Financial Fraud

Black Horse has done a Finance Agreement on my Vehicle thru a Dealership which does not own my Vehicle. They also clim they cannot provide me with a letter via email. They have done a release or confirmed with me this has been removed. It seems it a company that is not serious and have also asked not to contact the Police and give them time to run checks on my vehicle that's never been financed. Reviewed on: 6th February 2026

If you currently hold an account with Blackhorse and normally pay online through the customer website using your debit card.Please refrain from doing so.If you do wish to make a payment your best calling customer services directly to make payment.The reason on why am saying this.Is I made a payment on the 13th Jan,2 days before my payment date and its still showing payment pending on my account.Am now having to make a double payment. We no longer feel safe driving the car

This has been one of the most stressful and upsetting experiences we have ever had with a finance company. We financed a car through Black Horse and within less than six months, it broke down. It was later discovered that the vehicle had been involved in a major accident before we bought it, something that was never disclosed to us. Documentation relating to this was actually found inside the car itself. Since then, the vehicle has been in and out of the garage multiple times. The most frightening issue is water leaking inside the car. This is an electric vehicle, which makes this an extremely serious safety concern. We have an eight-year-old child who travels in this car, and we genuinely do not feel safe using it. The situation has caused enormous stress to our family. We have lost time, paid for taxis, rearranged work and childcare, and spent countless hours chasing garages and the finance company. We were given replacement vehicles that were initially not comparable to what we are paying for, which caused even more disruption. Despite all of this, Black Horse have dismissed the problems as “not significant” and offered just over £300 compensation, while refusing to end the finance agreement. That response feels incredibly dismissive given the repeated failures, safety concerns, and emotional toll this has taken on us. At no point have we felt listened to, supported, or protected. Instead, we are expected to continue paying for a car we no longer trust or feel safe driving. I am sharing this experience so other people can make an informed decision. If safety, accountability, and support matter to you, please think very carefully before choosing Black Horse Finance. Reviewed on: 7th January 2026

Do not trust

Black horse accepted me for finance twice and both times I seemed to be hit with incredibly hight interest rates which did not suit my affordability. At the time, I was a typical young adult with no idea about money and was targeted by a company that could exploit this side of me. Never again. Reviewed on: 2nd March 2025

Black horse are user friendly

I have been with black horse for the past two years and they’ve been very good and easy to access via their website and client portal. This makes it easier to contact someone near enough at anytime you need. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

So far so good

Very bad customer service and incomprtent staff.

Very bad customer service and incomprtent staff. Every advisor will tell you a different story. Advisor name Maryam she is like shouting and screaming if you ask any qurstions and will hang up on you. Extremely bad experience.
