By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Excellent Value and Service

By Miles are a great company, lots of useful communication (especially in the current Covid crisis) and Outstanding Value for money. As the number of miles I drive each year can change, this form of Car insurance is perfect. Paying By Miles

At first I was very sceptical with this company as i'd never heard of a company doing insurance this way. For my age group and the car I drive I was really struggling to find an insurance company that wouldn't cost a ridiculous amount each month (27 with a BMW M Sport) but with Pay By Miles i'm completely in control and can make my costs lower by monitoring what I spend via the app. I find i'm not using my car as much as I may have before as I can see what i'm spending day to day Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Why pay more for driving less

A brilliant idea for drivers of fewer miles. Since retirement I drive much less than I used to do, but still pay the same amount, so the idea of By Miles seemed to be my best choice. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Had no issues at all, was easy to sign up and very straightforward. I have a work vehicle so my personal one doesn’t get used much, Bymiles was the beat company around for me in that regard. The dongle arrived promptly, fitted right in. The site also avises whether or not the dongle will fit (really cool). The activation is painless and quick. Little bit adictive to keep looking at the details it gathers including fault codes from your car. If you are concerned about your young kids driving , you can see their location (with their awareness ofcourse) and can anticipate when they are likely to be back home safe. The major savings comes from paying only for what you use than what might be the usage. Ssaved me a lot of money during the lockdown. Well recommended. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020
