By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Changing to By Miles

I'd been with my insurance provider for 12 years. Every year it went up abit, but I stayed. A work colleague told me about By Miles. I got a quote and my car insurance halved. The whole process has been very straightforward and I'm happy to be saving over £300 per year on my car insurance. I recommend them to everyone now. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

First time with a black box

So this isn't your usual black box. It's even better as you only get charged for where you drive. I'm glad to know if there were to be an accidental or anything my whereabouts are known to the police. This was actually the cheapest quote that came up whit all search engines so I took a gamble and went for it and so glad I did. I'll be renewing next year, to do alot of driving often going from Wales to Scotland which is usually 400 miles a day. The company only charged me for 150 a day. This is their maximum charge. That I did not know so it says I'm on track for a refund. Couldn't be happier. Everything has gone smooth so far from start to now. Thanks by miles Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

The data connector arrived within 3 days of taking insurance. It took me 2 days to find where to fix as there was already one fitted from previous owner but great support enabled me to plug in Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

I haven't claimed or had any dealing with the company and hopefully won't. The device was sent out quickly and I get a message after every journey to say how much I am to pay, which is totaled at the end of the month.
