By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I'm very happy with By Miles, they're very reasonable rates - they're actually going down with loyalty, rather than being hiked up like you get with other insurers. And they have been very clear and straightforward in any communication. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Insurance but cheaper!

Found ByMiles using the comparison website. I was instantly sold at the price. I paid £188.47 at a fixed rate which covers parking, and 3.7p per mile. Pay per mile is capped at 150, so if you drive over, it's free! This year they even reduced the even more to £171.46 and 3.5p per mile. I drove 5435 miles this year, so if I drive the same next year, I'll only be spending £361.69 a year on Car insurance. I had paid £800 before ByMiles. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

First-rate service for low mile driver

I only drive a few miles a week, and By Miles is by far the least expensive. They send lots of useful car owner/driver tips, and there is always someone to talk to if any queries. Overall a fantastic company who should win the award. V happy customer Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

So easy to insure your car, absolutely outstanding customer service by phone and by e chat, it’s the 3rd year I’ve been with bymiles and it’s best price I’ve ever had. Only pay for the miles you drive

After paying the fixed sum i only paid for the miles i used. I paid anything between 72p -£7. Compulsory excess is a little higher than i would like to pay but otherwise it’s the perfect insurer for some like myself who doesn’t do a lot of miles Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

It is great that you pay an amount and then a monthly premium based on the times you drive. Also good that you have a tracker which really helps. Only spoke to customer service once and they were very helpful. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
