I've been with credit union now for 10 years and I've been able to save money whether it be for Christmas which is a great scheme to have for familys or a holiday, I have told my family and friends to sign up aswell and I will contuine to stay with credit union thank you for the great service you provide Reviewed on: 24th June 2026

Community Banks that serve Communities not themselves!

I was introduced to Cambrian Savings by my father to whom I will always be grateful. I mainly use it as a savings vehicle, however I have heard many good things about its value as a loans provider for those in need, thankfully I’ve been luckier than most in not requiring that aspect of their service. I did come across an offer of a limited savings increase on a new account. Requesting to join I was told the forms would be sent in the post. Sadly, the post office had recently changed their rates on certain sized envelopes which meant the forms were undervalued postage wise, for which I was charged the princely sum of £5! I explained the situation to Cambrian who very kindly refunded my postal charge and offered a £10 goodwill gesture for the inconvenience. What’s not to like in Customer Service like that. Life Hack Initiated

I have used Cambrian Credit Union to save monthly for years. They take the money straight from my monthly pay and I save all year so that I have money available for my children's birthdays and Christmas. This takes all the stress out of those events as I have the money ready and as it comes from my pay I don't feel like I'm missing it. This has been a revelation and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a stress free Christmas without being skint or racking up unnecessary debts! Reviewed on: 24th June 2026

So simple and easy

Life changing.

Life changing. They have helped us change a derelict cottage which had been empty for 22 years into a gorgeous home and gardens where people stand and take selfies with it as the backdrop. We have managed to do this on a shoestring and help from the helpful staff at the Rhyl Branch. Reviewed on: 24th June 2026

I have always found it difficult in the past to save for things I need because I put the money to one side and then dip into it but with Cambrian Credit Union I have a small amount directly going in each month and, to be honest, I forget about it and when I need money for big items it's there.
