Disappointing experience

I decided to try Carmoola because they promised a quick, hassle-free digital process, but it turned out to be the exact opposite. Bait-and-Switch Rates: I was initially quoted a really competitive rate during the soft search, but as soon as I went through the full application, the APR skyrocketed for no clear reason, despite me having an excellent credit score. App Glitches: The app kept crashing when I tried to upload my driving license and bank statements. I had to re-upload everything three times because the system kept "failing to verify" my documents. Terrible Customer Service: When things went wrong, trying to get a hold of a real human was a nightmare. Everything is hidden behind an unhelpful chatbot that just loops you back to the FAQ page. When I finally got an email response, it was just a generic template that didn't answer my question. Dealership Delays: They make it sound like buying the car is instant, but my dealership spent hours trying to sort out the payout with Carmoola, which almost caused me to lose the car to another buyer. Save yourself the stress and just go with a traditional bank or a dealership's finance options. The "convenience" of an app isn't worth the headache when it actually matters Reviewed on: 9th June 2026
