The Chase saver account can be opened with any amount and can have a maximum balance of £1m.

The account has a variable interest rate and you can make withdrawals whenever you like. There are no fees or charges and you can open up to ten Chase saver accounts with each one earning interest.

Everything works very efficiently

The other banks need to catch up in the Chase

I like the ease of saving in little “pot”, for insurances or car repairs etc. At least I can keep getting interest on the savings rather than energy companies storing the overpayments in summer to help for winter bills. I also like the 1.% on the current account better than paying charges on most UK bank accounts. I would like the interest rates on savings to be about 5% at least rather than the 4.1% it seems slow to track the better rates. I also like the “round up facility “ that makes saving a bit easier. The almost perfect exchange rate on holiday is good too. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024
