One of the 1st Free for Life Credit Checkers..

Been using Clearscore for quite a while. They were one of the 1st to let you have free for life access to your credit report. Now many others are also offering this, but clearscore were one of the original and there offering is still relevant and fresh. Reviewed on: 30th April 2017

Fab little phone app, so easy to use and usually up to date. Reviewed on: 4th April 2017

Opposite of helpful

I had some credit problems many years ago and used clearscore to check how bad the situation was now, I put in accurate up to date information it gave me an average rating and was encouraged to apply for a credit card as it said I should to improve my score and I was likely to be accepted. I did so, immediately rejected for the standard card they recommended (rather than a starter type card I would've got) so now my credit rating will drop further. Unreliable

The report has been showing active accounts as closed and settled ones as still open for months now. Highly inaccurate Reviewed on: 3rd March 2017

Does not show accurate information, misleading and potentially dangeroius

This website is incredibly dangerous for anyone trying to actively manage their credit file, it has shown completely incorrect information about my file for three months now, information about long term credit agreements was on there, then disappeared, information about my credit cards and current account does not update after three months, customer service only available via email, every response is 'you should contact equifax', I have taken out a paid account with equifax, there are no issues their end Reviewed on: 15th September 2016
