Countingup - The Bank for micro and small business

Started a business 7 years ago and the only bank prepared to give me a chance was Countingup. Here we are 7 years later and both going strong. This is the bank that genuinely has the micro and small businesses best interests at heart. Reviewed on: 13th February 2026

Good, but missing some easy and vital features

The app is clear and very easy to navigate but I would prefer having a desktop option as only being able to do banking through my phone is limiting. Also not being able to speak to someone over the phone is frustrating when a problem needs resolving as it can take days over the messages. Finally, Counting Up are missing money pots, this is something I need but they don’t offer. I like the accounting features a lot as this streamlines everything. Reviewed on: 13th February 2026
