Covered for exact needs

Three and a half years ago I underwent surgery for bowel cancer. A routine annual scan last year revealed that I had two small secondary tumors on my lung and these were surgically removed. A joint annual travel insurance which my husband and I had with another company became immediately invalid. Despite being in good health once I had recovered from the surgery, the cost of a policy for myself was absolutely phenomenal. I searched around and fortunately found Covered2Go. The two part policy consisting of a general master one and a specialist health one, makes such sense. Yes, there are more questions to answer and more details required, but the result is a policy which takes account of my exact condition and specialist needs, if any, at this precise moment in time - at a reasonable and affordable cost. Very good experience when I had to claim

I was ill on holiday in Ethiopia and was hospitalised for three days. Insured2go paid the hospital bills directly, rebooked my flight home and provided a taxi from the airport. I didn't even have to pay for the taxi's airport parking. It was a great help not to have to pay myself and then claim the money back. Buying the insurance on line was also easy, but it is the actual claims experience that matters. Reviewed on: 24th September 2017

So easy to set up. I was pleasantly surprised by the medical review on my travel insurance. As a family, between us we have a lot of extras to be covered. Excellent and easy to contact

I have used Covered2Go for a number of years now after reading the recommendation from Which magazine where they continue to feature on a regular basis as good and reliable. During the time we have been with them my wife and I have gone from around mid 60's to mid 70's. and have traveled around the world including Europe and the USA. Cover has also included a number cruises Premiums are remarkably competitive. I have only had to make one claim over the years when my wife was ill on a cruise to New York, but the claim was settled very quickly and efficiently. Reviewed on: 21st September 2017
