Although we've never needed to put them to the test, they seem to be a fair and caring company that genuinely try to protect older people with health related issues to enable them to continue to enjoy life and not just consign them to the scrapheap. Reviewed on: 13th July 2023

cancelled holiday situation

The renewal they wouldn't honour

Made a claim last year for cancellation due to surgery and this year they sent renewal offer for double the cost, but when I filled in the medical questionnaire they refused cover. My problem is not the refusal but they kept pestering me with renewal emails even when they know they won't cover me - 4 or 5 emails with offers they wouldn't honour. The claim didn't go well either - consultant's surgeon's signature not good enough, needed signature at extra cost from my GP who knew nothing about my surgery. Seems like good insurance until you make a claim, then it isn't. Reviewed on: 13th July 2023

I have only had to claim against a travel insurance policy once, in 2019 when I was taken ill abroad. Covered 2 go dealt with the claim rapidly without quibble. Just what you want when you need to lean on your insurer. Reviewed on: 13th July 2023
