Darwin consistently cheaper on comparison sites

I tried a few comparison sites and Darwin consistently came out very competitive. I opted fot their gold policy as it was still competitive and provided better cover and was still significantly cheaper than my renewal quote. Very pleased with result. Reviewed on: 13th October 2026

Better than the other competitors after review

Looked at other providers on comparison web sites. Some were cheaper but eventually I came to the conclusion that Darwin although a little more expensive were probably the best to go with. Their Trustpilot score was very good again compared to other competitors. Reviewed on: 13th October 2026

Be warned they misquote then ask for more money. I initially went with Darwin insurance and was happy with the quote but just before the insurance was due to start they contacted me and said the quote was incorrect and wanted more money .I was still within my rights to cancel so this is what I did and received a full refund .This is a dirty trick to play and won’t be using either them or anyone associated with Churchill insurance in the future. Computer-says-no syndrome

They have pushed everything on to their site, and you get pigeonholed; can't ask any questions and have to accept stock answer ticks or nothing. Literally at the mercy of their machines. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2026
