eToro is a great and super versatile platform, you can buy shares, funds, and also copy other investors. You can "play" with little money before you commit to a heftier portfolio. You can also have a virtual portfolio, but I find the real thing more gratifying. Reviewed on: 7th February 2023

You dont actually own your shares

I was with eToro for a while and then holding GME shares. I wanted to direct register my shares but eToro won’t allow it as they are CFD’s bought with your money and not actual shares. I got out of there as soon as I can Reviewed on: 13th January 2023
