GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Fantastic

This is a brilliant way of children looking after their own money, but also realising you have to work to receive money. It gives children the opportunity to learn life skills and educates them into managing money and a good work ethic. Our 10 yr old daughter loves it. She got to choose her own card with her name on - which is a rare spelling. Whatever money she get off family and friends goes straight into the account so she can see the money growing but also under stand if she wants anything extra she can do jobs around the hose and gets rewarded. We also like the fact that she isn’t carrying money around or handling money especially during the pandemic. Our daughter also loves the app on her phone which has been easy and accessible to use. Most of all what I love about this card is it’s child friendly. Well done Go Henry you’ve been a massive success in our house, for sure. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

Yes I know that I shouldn't bribe my child but using the gohenry card doesn't seem like bribery at all!! Replacing the reward chart system for my 12 year old with the financial incentive of his own money has been fantastic. My son has kept on top of his school work in exchange for his pocket money each week amd has learned that doing jobs (chores) earns him extra cash. gohenry is all about 'flavour' as far as me and my family are concerned. It feels different because it is different. It offers something almost intangible that other financial companies struggle to provide. In the case of gohenry, these subtle differences makes a big difference. The common perception of most banks and financial institutions is that they are faceless, money-grabbing and monolithic, made friendly and approachable only because of vast marketing machines and clever high-gloss advertising. Despite having choice, many people feel trapped (often misconstrued as 'loyalty') with their bank simply because of the hassle factor of moving their bank to another provider. go henry is none of these things. From Day One, we have been impressed by the genuine friendliness and ease of accessibility concerning all things henry. Both of my children have cards of which they are immensely proud and the ability for them - and us as parents - to have control over the management of their finances has been immeasurable. From the loading of money into their accounts through to the reassuring ability to be able to set spending limits, every step of the journey is easy, transparent and user-friendly. The regular communications from the gohenry team are clear, concise, friendly and appropriate; something I never imagined I would ever say about any organisation associated with money or banking. I would (and frequently do) highly recommend the company to friends and family and we feel lucky to have the ability to access such a great toolkit of support, financial learning and innovative approaches to money management for our children.
