About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Very good starter account to get your children into banking.

So far, mostly good. There's been more than one example of my daughter being unable to pay her bus fare with the card. Calling customer services and finding out she needs to enter her pin number in a shop every 150 purchases or whatever is not good enough. Leaving a young kid stranded on a bus on their own without the means to pay for transport is totally unacceptable. So an epic fail there. Apart from that, the service works. Great for kids

My daughter has had her card for nearly a year and it has allowed her to understand the value of money, before I'd go shopping and she'd ask for a toy, now she looks at the toys and asks herself if she really wants to spend that money. She is also learning that nothing comes for free so will do chores to earn her pocket money. This allows me to teach good values from a young age and good money sense Reviewed on: 21st January 2021
