GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

Great financial learning tool and incentiviser.

I find the app easy to use and it is helping enormously with my son's understanding of money, he is just turned 7 and is enjoying his financial independence with his GoHenry card; we do have to keep his card safe though, he tends to leave it lying around when he's out and about. Our son also likes earning small extra amounts of pocket money for different tasks and that he can see his balance and rewards on his tablet. I like that I can control the account from my phone, even adding funds in real time if necessary. Reviewed on: 14th March 2025
