We got insurance but only on a one-off basis.

It was not easy dealing with some of the questions, which was probably mainly my fault. In the end, however, we got there. I was disappointed that the company would not consider an annual European policy because of my heath record - even though it is stable and I have never been told that I am not medically fit to travel.
