Never have I ever paid that much money to cancel a policy! Maybe an oversight on my behalf, but It wasn't clear to me that they use a finance company to pay for the insurance. Normally if you don't pay your monthly bill, they'll cancel your insurance and rightly so. Why the need for a finance company. Never had this problem with any other company. Also very hard to change details online and they charge you £35 to do it over the phone. I've paid the money as I can't be bothered having more charges on top. I would never use them again! I decided to take my sister off the policy after the first month as she was no longer using the car and instead of going back to the initial £70 I was paying, it went up to £93 so I decided to cancel and take my business elsewhere. I had insured it on that day of delivery fully comp. with Go Skippy….£523.00 and after 7 weeks cancelled the insurance because Cupra & the dealership couldn’t tell me when I would get the car or if it would be replaced.GoSkippy would not transfer the policy to another vehicle and the cost of termination…..wait for it…£297.00. and the car had never left the compound. After querying this with them they are refusing to refund me the money they took from my account and now are stating I owe them £33.00!!
