This is third time I have applied for a loan with hoot and every time I’ve applied I’ve had immediate response and helped with anything that I have struggled with really helpful and amazing staff when I spoke to them on the phone they explained everything they would do by taking a certain amount from my child benefit and a some to my savings which is brilliant! My last savings was £600 and I didn’t even feel the affect of taking it from my child benefits Reviewed on: 22nd May 2025

I first heard from this from my sister , she’s used hoot before and I applied got accepted and it was a quick easy process. Its great how you get the chance to put money aside each month and can’t touch it either, I’ve just got my second one from hoot as a did it half way through my first loan as a top up and cannot fault it. I have always had a positive experience with Hoot Credit Union. Hoot has been my go too for loans and savings. I find it stress free and straightforward. Borrowing small amounts with Hoot Credit Union has always been an affordable and easily budgeted way of borrowing. I started with a loan for car insurance, and the great thing is you save as you pay back the loan, building up a nice little pot of money and seeing that saving also helps for those financial "rainy days".
