Cancelling Policy Without enough warning

I have been asked for my V5 log book in my name. When I asked if the log book could be kept in my partners name customer service said they would have to get back to me. They should have told me at the time I would need to change it or my policy would be cancelled. Or they should have extended the cancellation period whilst i was make enquiries. I only received the cancellation letter 5 days before the cancellation of the policy was due to take place. 1 of these days being a Sunday when i was unable to call customer services. I do no believe this is along enough period to warn someone there policy is being cancelled. I rely on my car for work and without it I may have to give up my job as i will not be able to afford any more insurance with the heighten premium rate from having a policy cancelled. I was unaware that car was not actually in my name and this was an honest mistake when i took the policy out. I had already declared the accidents I have been involved in and am unsure as to how having the car in a different name make me more high risk to insure. I feel like insure you motor/my insurer have been very inflexible and unwilling to help even though I am trying to rectify the problem. Reviewed on: 16th May 2017

Nobody better

I have been with insure your motor for a while now and can honestly say that there is no other that I would use. Whenever I have had a problem the staff are as helpful as can be and strive to reach a solution. I have never dealt with a company as good as insure your motor. I have recommended to all friends and will continue to recommend to anybody who asks who I insure with. As long as insure your motor continue I will not be changing to anybody else.
