Great functionality - disappointed portfolio not performing in spite of large management fee

A bit disappointed with performance - have had about 2k (net £350 loss) wiped out since middle of the year - appreciate the markets are volatile but this is a managed product and the party line has been "investing is for the long-haul" so I am not sure what the management fee is for if they don't adjust your investments.
