I've used L and C a few times now. The service has always been good and the recommendations have been excellent. Leon is our advisor, he is incredible and patient especially given the long winded conveyancing process we have been through. I'm not keen on the portal! Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

Friendly, supportive, knowledgeable.... and no fees!

I have used L&C many times for residential and btl mortgages. I have always found their staff to be friendly, helpful, supportive, knowledgeable and efficient. My latest re-mortgage was no exception to that. Not forgetting "no fees" - what's not to like?! Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

Their proactivity saved us thousands

They were extremely proactive and helped us secure a great mortgage offer before all the rates went crazy. If it wasn't for them being so proactive we would have lost a lot of money. They always explained everything clearly and in simple terms to help us understand. Everything was just smooth. I always recommend L&C to everyone I know, especially for first time buyers. Been using L & C for over 15 years for my Buy To Let...

Been using L & C for over 15 years for my Buy To Let Mortgage arrangements. NO fee to me and the rates they get are not inflated to cover the fee paid by the mortgage company (I know I've checked). Very willing to help and do all the sums to show what in real terms is the best mortgage option for your circumstances (be it cost per month, in my case, or minimum overall cost). There mortgage broker service is outstanding.

There mortgage broker service is outstanding. But there conveyancing partners are not necessarly good one. I was stuck one bad and it took me a 10 months to finish the conveyancing process without any chain involved. Reviewed on: 25th March 2025

This company is fab.

This company is fab. I’ve had a few mortgages with L&C and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’ve always been very helpful, friendly and informative and have got me some excellent deals. So helpful for a first time buyer

I used L&C to help find me a mortgage deal because I had a slightly complicated situation in that I was moving 300 miles away for a new job, and only had a contract of employment from the new job and no payslips (as yet). L&C helped me naviage the whole situation, and as a first time buyer, it was so great to have someone on hand to talk things through with.
