Lightyear is a simple way to invest in stocks and ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds).

With Lightyear, you deposit money in Vaults. You can invest as little as £1 and there is no maximum limit. You can manage the account through the website or via the app.

Lightyear has provided me with a very simple platform to start investing in individual stocks, alongside with the lowest fees that I have yet to find. The platform also provides great insight into each stock option, helping you make more educated investment choices if you choose to do so. The app is very easy to use and it is easy and quick to transfer money into your Lightyear account. Initially there was a limited selection for stocks only, but this has vastly increased in variety due to addition of new markets, as well as new products such as ETFs. I've been using Lightyear since shortly after launch and it has been such a great experience compared to using other apps such as HL. Lower fees, incredible graphs and other visuals. I can't stop recommending to friends and I'm hoping they are able to launch more services in the near future! Reviewed on: 8th January 2024
