A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

My future

I started saving a smaller amount monthly by deduction from my salary and have twice upped the amount and may increase again in the future . My intention is to continue until I retire in a few years so this will be an extra income . I don't miss the money as it's deducted so it's not as though it goes into my bank and I have to pay it out . Reviewed on: 28th May 2026

Quick, easy and helpful

Being able to save directly from my wages makes a big difference to how I save and put money aside. The app is easy to work with allowing me to check in on my savings, make transferred and add where needed.
