Manchester Credit Union have a range of savings accounts for members.

A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Excellent deal on savings

I am a member of Manchester Credit Union and, these days, I am a saver rather than a borrower. Manchester offers all its members convenient and easy ways to save and by accepting the small savings of people on tight budget contributes to building their financial health and well being . Linking saving to loan repayments is particularly beneficial to many members as it encourages and enables positive savings behaviour. Dividends (or interest) paid on savings in highly competitive and beats the high street banks hands down. It is remarkable that a community financial provider can offer better deals than banks. Manchester Credit Union has also invested significantly in modern technology - so people can view and manage their savings balances online or an an app. This is remarkable. I've been saving with Manchester Credit Union for quite a few years now and it's one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I've had loans in the past and they were always easy and quick. Now I just save and when I withdraw any money, it's done straight away. Always friendly and helpful on the phone too. Reviewed on: 8th June 2021
