A Regular Savings Account is opened automatically when you join Manchester Credit Union. Savings must be made on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly and withdrawals can be made via the App or Members Area.

Changed my life over 25 years ago

I joined when I was 22 and on benefits as a single mother and very poor. I joined a scheme that made it possible for me to buy my first PC on condition I saved £2 a week from my benefit and £3 to pay of my first PC and took lessons to use PC and internet- without these two skills, saving and learning to use PC/internet I would never have gone to college, got my degree and saved the money I have now. Over the years it helped me stay out of debt because I could take out small loans for things like my son’s birthday or uniforms and Christmas.
