Scammers

Black Box fitted. Now telling me what roads I can and cannot drive on. Hard cornering going round a roundabout. Telling me if I don't pay £125 my insurance will be cancelled. Under a litre car and its costing a fortune Reviewed on: 4th February 2023

scam

SCAM!! the black box is really bad. 2 months and it's gone up £50 plus everytime I drive the car they say speed is good but cornering is bad even tho I had it checked by driving instructor and he couldn't understand it. You tell MARMALADE scamers this but there brains don't understand. 2 months and they asked for about £1100 extra or they will cancel the policy. Brilliant for young drivers

Great choice for new drivers such as insurance per mileage, which suits my daughter who is away at university for weeks at a time. Reviewed on: 12th October 2022

A generally good insurer

This was my first car insurance company that I went with. I had a black box on my car for the first year, which at times I found to be slightly sensitive and inaccurate. Although they were and easy company to use. Reviewed on: 20th August 2022

Loosing days

My daughter , who has learner driver insurance through Marmalade for 60 days, got a a private registration number. I changed the registration with Marmalade, only to be told that she had to wait 7 days before this could be updated, there fore could not drive the car and would not be compensated fe the seven days. Whereas, I’m insured through M&S, who changed this over on the same day and hour. Not impressed and won’t be renewing with Marmalade. Reviewed on: 30th May 2022

Black box
