Not serious at all. Since 3 days I try to activate an account. But I don’t get any activation code via SMS. There is no support. No one is answering neither my phone calls nor chats or emails. This is very unprofessional. I am really disappointed and would never recommend to use this App

The team always strives to reply as quickly as possible, but it sometimes depends on the volume of incoming requests. When waiting on the line, you should be given an option to request a callback by pressing 2, so that someone from our team comes back to you as soon as they're available. Hope this helps!

In the past, I've had many problems with my banks, applications, contact forms. After moving to the UK I was afraid it might get even worse, as I heard many stories about how complicated it is to set up a bank account. But thanks to Monese, I managed to do it in no time, without any expenses or paperwork. The account is working great, the app is simple yet very well organized. I highly recommend the Monese account to everyone!

1. The messenger BOT is the worst thing I have ever seen. It hasnt ever solved any of my problems.
2. I am sick of trying to load money from my debit card and having to enter an address and then pass through the VISA authorisation successfully only for Monese to then refuse my transaction.

Payments are often frozen and fund held for "security reasons" even though they are well bellow the account limit.
Any inquiry and customer service takes days to reply. Apparently all their employed are busy replying to negative social media reviews. Disregarding their customers troubles.

On only my second transaction, they somehow "lost" nearly 500 euros I was transferred. Monese tell me they have not received the funds, but the sender's bank says they traced the transfer and got a message confirming funds had been received and deposited in the payee's account. I have to assume Monese put my funds in someone else's account and can't now be bothered to find them. They keep saying the money, if it existed, would be returned to the sender within 2 weeks - it's been THREE MONTHS now. Customer service is dismal, days and days talking to a chatbot before someone in Estonia finally answers, unhelpfully. In my case trying Monese was a mistake - a very expensive mistake!
