Monese Experience

I really recommend Monese to my family, friends and even expats and tourists around the world. The card and the account is more convenient to use compared to other pre-cards around. Common market working.

Put yourself in a sitiuation where you change your country residence inside the EU looking for a better future. Free movement of people is one of the EU's cornerstone, with that, the right to work in all EU member states without any kind of discrimination. However, that is not what really happens... and people start to realize that when you try to open a bank account. To work, you need a bank account and to have a bank account you need a residence. A paradox just had started... Monese came to my life and made things easier without burocracy. Today I'm a happy costumer in a bank with low fees but with a high level customer service. The next step that I would like to see in the bank would be investment services. Reviewed on: 21st November 2018

Perfect for travellers!

Initially I was just using monese as a traveller struggling to get an account with 'a real bank'. However after signing up with monese and travelling europe with just my monese card with ease, I ended up sticking with them for the next 1.5 years! Has all the benefits of a normal bank, just easier. Customer service through chat or call are extremely responsive. Reviewed on: 21st November 2018

Easy to use

I was having trouble to open an account in uk because I was new in uk and didn’t have a “proper” prof of residence and Monese was the only bank which supported me. Beyond that I never had any problem with it since then. Reviewed on: 21st November 2018

Perfect for travellers!

When you arrive in the UK, it is basically IMPOSSIBLE to get a bank account. Monese allows customers to sign up for online banking and start receiving their hard earned money immediately. Initially I was just going to use monese until I could switch banks, but banking with them was so easy I kept my account for the next 1.5 years, and was even able to travel through out Europe using my card with ease. Secured account till date

The whole experience from notifications from the App on purchases and 3D secure manual sign in, to freezing your card if lost or stopping unwanted payments. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Reviewed on: 21st November 2018
