How can you launch a money app without having an apple version? A bit surprising...and makes them look a bit amateur. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2016

Reply from Monese Hi there - this was fairly early days for us and we've since launched our iOS app as well. At the time, however, we had to prioritise a platform and we chose Android because that's what most of our customers were asking for! Hope this helps! Response date: 24th January 2018

Great app but...

To start off I should say that the opening process is simple as monese isn't quite a full banking company yet. And yes the app does look rather good (although only on android at present). This account may be ok if you have basic needs, but it is a little restricting in that you cannot build a credit rating up and don't get interest on balances. So imagine this is your only banking product in the uk and you want to get a mortgage (with another bank as this isn't something monese can offer). Well your lack of financial credit history might be a problem!! Reviewed on: 20th February 2016

We're not looking to be a traditional bank and our focus at the moment is on our Current Account offering (rather than savings), but our features and services have improved quite a bit since back then (such as iOS)! Early days, but seems hassle free

So i signed-up for Monese as it sounded like a cool product. So far, so good, but it is early days. I haven't had any big issues yet, so don't know how they'll deal with them. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2015
