I think the fact that you are made to save the same amount as whichever loan you take and genuinely can’t access it until the loan has been paid off, it’s brilliant for people who are usually tempted to use money like that. Reviewed on: 13th May 2025

Long standing credit union member.

My membership with the Co-op credit union many years ago when employed by the co-op eye care. Initially face to face advice at the local office and now online. Initially our early days with a young family we borrowed money to help with household changes, the loans were life savers. Now older and retired I save for myself and my grandchildren encouraging them to open accounts and use this excellent service. I’m not computer savvy but always have excellent help and advice from the wonderful folk at head office. Thank you for that help and support throughout those years! Reviewed on: 13th May 2025
