The Moneybox Simple Saver account can be opened with £1 and you can make withdrawals with one day notice. Moneybox also offer a 32-day notice or 95-day notice account. You can deposit up to £85,000 in any of the Moneybox savings accounts and there’s no account fees or charges.

save money in a neat app

It’s allow me to building up a saving pot weekly and using rounds up which adds more cash into the pot. I don’t feel that I miss the money. Another positive is the ability to see how much interest is being built up weekly / daily. Reviewed on: 5th February 2024

Best Decision I Ever Made

I opened a savings account to save for a very important surgery and prevent me from spending anything else due to having a spending addiction, by having a 32 day withdrawal process. The app is easy to navigate and the moneybox staff have always been very helpful, quick, understanding and accommodating of my special needs. The interest rate in the 32 day saver is an amazing 4.66%. I have currently made nearly £20 in interest within 3-4 months as opposed to the usual £5 every few months for the same amount from my regular bank. Great easy way to save money.

Great easy way to save money. Currently saving for future housing costs associated with buying my first home, Money box offers decent interest rates and regular bonuses as rewards for depositing money. This helps me save more as I am getting more back in return and can actually see the rewards being added to my account, this is something I think a lot of other banks don’t offer. My experience so far

I didn't have that high of expectations when I first started using the app, but slowly as interest accrued, I kind of saw the benefits of it. It's not perfect in any way shape or form, but it gets the job done if you want to get in the habit of saving money. The round-up feature does a good job of both showing what you've spent money on which in turn makes you more aware of your spending, and also helps increase your savings by a tad bit.
