Rooster for the early worm

I set this up recently for my 8yr old daughter to teach her how to handle money and how it works. The account was so easy to set up even my tech phobe Dad could do it! I like that you.can add chores for the kids to do and earn their money. Switching money between parebt and child account is a doddle too. This is a fab app and the card.came out very quickly. safe and Secure online banking experience

I had a review of my banking from Claire at NatWest, as part of this review I was asked if my child had a bank account. I explained he didn’t however has been pestering me for a bank card as he’s 10 gets given cash for pocket money off myself, his dad and his grandparents and everything he wants is online such as Vbucks for fortnight, fifa points for fifa, Roblox points and much more. I explained how he’s always trying to trade off his cash for an online payment and sometimes I’m reluctant myself as I don’t want cash either as many places no longer take it and I like to see my money in my back account and cash just sits in my purse and I end up giving him it back. Claire talked to me about the rooster card and that as I’m a NatWest customer I’d get this for no fee as I’d talked to her about other pre paid cards I had been researching but was put off due to the fee and didn’t want to pay money to access money. Claire showed me how to sign up and talked me through how it worked, I ordered one that day and when it came by 10 year old was extremely happy I even text Claire to tell her she’d made his day. We’ve had the card around three weeks now, he loves it, I’ve set up chores on it so if he makes his bed daily he’ll get 25p and if he eats his breakfast without me nagging Reviewed on: 6th April 2023
