A great account and app for parents and children to use. Great that you can set up rewards for choirs, homework etc. Excellent incentive . Also teaches them the value of money and makes them more sensible on what they are spending their money on. Reviewed on: 21st February 2024

Rooster - fantastic value as a NatWest customer

I opened three Rooster accounts for our three children. It's beneficial as I am a NatWest customer and therefore don't pay any fees. The benefits are brilliant. So each of them has a debit card which they can use to spend. They each have the facility to set up their own saving pots. A good comparison is our 13 year old. She also has a current account with NatWest and a debit card. Beneficial because some of the spending she does when out and about, the Rooster card doesn't work as well. However, because she's under 18, she can't open online savings accounts via her current account. She has done with Rooster and is already £20 towards a new set of Air Pods. The main incentive is she can open as many pots as she likes and I can set an interest rate for her as an incentive. Reviewed on: 21st February 2024
