The best pocket money app by miles!

We tried some of the other pocket money apps before discovering Rooster Money. Our kids love it and has been a huge help in managing their finances. Reviewed on: 31st March 2022

Fantastic for children

My boys, 10 & 8 year olds, each have a Rooster Account. They are beginning to understand the importance of earning their own money and saving their own money. They both have access to their accounts using their own devices and can check in on how much they have with ease. At first they were nervous to use their cards in the shops. It was mainly because they didn’t think the shop keeper would believe it was their card but now they are far more confident and the shop people have always been helpful and encouraging of the boys independence. I would highly recommend a Rooster Account to anyone - in fact, I did to my sister and now my niece has her own account too! Reviewed on: 31st March 2022

Learning, earning and easy

So much cheaper than other companies and super easy to use this app has really helped my son (9) understand the value of money, how to earn and mange it as well as giving him independence to make his own choices. The app is super easy for all to use and topping up the card is hassle free. Love the fact that rooster does exploit parents who are low income by changing ridiculous fees. Love that my son gets now why we can’t afford to do things and that money is something to spend and save wisely once earned Reviewed on: 30th March 2022

Teaching kids the value of money

I have only ever used the free app, but I will def progress as my kids get older. already using the app has started to teach them the value of money and the impact of their choices on their 'savings'. Reviewed on: 30th March 2022

Perfect

So easy to use and very easy to set up chores etc. love that I can see my children’s PIN numbers on my app and am teaching them money management by splitting their money into spend and save accounts. Reviewed on: 29th March 2022

Simply Brilliant

Rooster money is just brilliant. My daughter loves the pocket money and her grown up card. I love the fact she is learning about digital money… understanding that she can earn through chores, track her spend and save for what she really wants. This is so unbelievably important in todays age where cash is almost a thing of the past. Taking control of her digital finances is a life lesson that is beyond priceless.
