Easy, reliable and parent and child friendly

5
I got these cards for my children as a way that I could give them pocket money without withdrawing cash all the time and so they wouldn’t lose money. It was really easy to set up and the kids love having their own bank cards. I can monitor everything that they do with an easy to use app and set all the controls that I need to. Very pleased. Love RoosterMoney

Great service. My daughter loves it and I love to because I can keep track of her spending, and I know where she has been when out with her friends. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Never too young to know about money

This app has been great for helping my son get to grips with finances. Makes him think to a degree about what he spends his money on. The chore system is great if your child is motivated by money. Having a debit card that is so rigorously safe has been so useful and convenient. There's a lot to this app and it works so well with conscientious development and great communications behind it. My kids enjoying this they are more confident to have they’re own money and the same time they learned to save. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Excellent site for the family

I had pocket money as a child called stars and it really motivated me to do work to gain reward. The kids love going in and seeing who has the most and also allocating some to savings. A great concept and easy to use. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Great Comms & User Interface

This is the second app of this type that we have used. Rooster has, by far the simplest user interface. Targets for kids is a great motivational addition to the app. Have already recommended this to other family members - the highest form of recognition. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Great intro to using money

My daughter has learnt to save, and spend through using the app and the card. It allows us to control and support her learning about earning, saving and spending money. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

Easy way to help children learn about finances and the value of money

5
We joined Rooster last summer 2020, with two children now in secondary school and the world becoming ever more cashless- especially with using the school bus with no mum to nag them to sanitise their hands after handling a cash fare! What I mostly love about Rooster is the three ‘troughs’ their money can sit in, encouraging them to save and give as well as have their spending money. There is a good element of control for me as their parent, I get an alert when they spend, and I can quickly and easily send them a top up through the app whenever they are. I also like that I can look back through all the transactions, especially helpful when they claim I have forgotten to give them their pocket money or bus fare (which I usually have!). Rooster has given my kids the freedom and independence they craved, whilst allowing me to guide them and it gives us flexibility to add or deduct money as needed Reviewed on: 13th April 2021
