Best interest rates

Was looking for a savings account with a decent amount of interest and I found beehive most banks always refuse me even for a savings account but I was successful with beehive (now Nottingham building society) and I will keep and hopefully build up this account for the future Reviewed on: 27th March 2025

Local company quietly offering a good savings package

Small local building society, I might have overlooked their offers had it not been mentioned on a well known money saving website. Offering several accounts with better interest than I could get elsewhere for regular savings, I have subsequently opened other similar accounts with them. The only niggles are that you have to open the account at a branch, and have a classroom that has to be taken in person to be updated but that is a minor inconvenience.
