Cheap and friendly

I recently changed car insurance to One Call having seen the reviews by others. I’m always sceptical of reviews because I always wonder if the person reviewing has been paid to say positive things. The first thing I read was about how cheap One Call were. This is one of the first things I look for is how affordable. And obviously, the reviews were telling me very! One Call were offering the cover I needed at an amazing price. It almost seemed too good to be true. I paid for the year straight away and tried to log in to the portal but found I couldn’t. I got in touch via the live chat which is absolutely the best method for me to get in touch; no sitting on the phone on hold or waiting for an email response. The live chat told me how many people were ahead of me so I could do something else whilst I waited. When an adviser was free and messaging on the live chat, she quickly explained that my portal account wasn’t live but they didn’t actually require any further information (I was trying to log in to upload my no claims document). The next day, I received a follow up phone call. I started panicking thinking what have I missed or are you going to tell me there’s a mistake with the premium I have paid. The advisor quickly reassured me that the phone call was just to verify a few details and offer a quote and discount code for insurance on my building and contents.
