Absolutely shocking. AVOID!!!!

1
Absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs. Issue ongoing with dealer since May. It’s now mid September and my car still doesn’t work despite being in warranty when the issues occurred. Opened a complaint and waited 8 weeks to have the complaint closed with absolutely no resolution and I’m now approx £4,000 down with no assistance at all. I’ve just tried to speak to “customer care team” and they purposefully hung up the phone on me. I cannot stress enough the importance of avoiding this company at all costs. I would have saved myself 2k if I never contacted Oodle!! Reviewed on: 26th September 2023

These people are liars and charlatans

I bought a Ford Ranger for my husband using Oodle on 26th March 2022, the very next day my husband died, the relevance of this is that the car was not used from then until after the funeral the first time I went out in the car the engine management light came on I called the garage up and they told me to take the car to a garage but unfortunately they were too busy to look at the car so I took it to a garage that I always used and they said that there was a fault on the engine and that it could be reset but the problem would keep recurring also the underneath of the car was very badly corroded which was not in relation to the age and mileage which was under 35,000 miles.I called the car sales people and they never returned a call so I called Oodle up and they said that I was within my rights to return the vehicle and they would get a the garage to refund the money to them. This I did the next day. To cut a long story short this has been back and forth as Oodle said that the car sales people had refused to refund the money. This I later discovered was a lie. I have been trying to get the transcripts of the calls I made regarding this matter using the freedom of information act but this has never been sent to me. They have told me that I would have to maintain the payments to them or it would adversely affect my credit rating and with me know being a widow. I am forced to keep the payments up so not only have I not had my car for over 12 months I have paid over £6000.00 for the privilege of not having this car. I have been bullied and mistreated by Oodle I would give zero stars if I could Reviewed on: 2nd June 2023

Good Info Before Payment is due

They send out any direct debit changes or what is needed to pay couple days before its due to remind you and you could see if anything has changed, in addition there app is very informative and easy to use. Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

On my side

They were great at getting me on the road when I needed it most. Then during lockdown and I found myself redundant they gave my payments a holiday and reduced the monthly amount. Right throughout my policy/agreement they have always been helpful. I am now six payments away from fulfilling my payment plan and they have helped me achieve that. Thanks Reviewed on: 31st May 2023

Scammers

1
I'm paying a ridiculous amount of money per month for a car that I purchased in May. I have since put £650 towards fixing the car and Oodle's response was to refund me £100. I also looked at the numbers, the guy who was on the phone to me sorting the finance repeatedly reassured me that I'd be paying 18.3% APR, but as it turns out, silly me didn't read the small print as I was so trusting in this man, but having read my agreement again, there is a 9.50% interest rate for each financial year of the agreement so in actual fact I'm paying 47.5% APR! Not one person told me that this is what I'd be paying and now they can't do anything about it. Wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Waste of my time and money. Untrustworthy

The car finance contract was worthless. The 4 year warranty refused to pay out. The firm behaved unprofessional. They tripped themselves up in a lie. They ignored my emails .Their Quick Finance broker was just as pointless Reviewed on: 23rd November 2022

DO NOT USE DANGER

DO NOT USE DANGER DANGER ......... customer service is shocking and they never ring you back .... they had a inderpendant inspector scotia report amended to suit them when the dealer refused to sort a car they sold faulty and proved by the report . staff treat you like your mentaly unstable just becouse your angry ..... i have been made to jump through hoops and have done everything they have asked but after now having a car for over a year and still paying for it BUT ONLY DRIVEN FOR MONTHS this was the 2nd car i had from them. i went with them cause the first contract went so well, But i did not want to use them again, i needed another car to get around as i have disabilitys , so tried to get another on finance but with another company BUT they stoped me and i was left with only being able to use them for another car ,SO now i have 2 cars with oodle 1 that does not run that i am fighting to send them back or get fixed and 1 for my everyday use , i get no updates from them and even get hung up on the phone from them or put onto a mental health call to check mey stress (so degrading) ITS BEEN PROVED THE CAR WAS FAULTY WHEN BOUGHT AND THAT ITS NOT DOWN TO ME SO TAKE IT BACK OR FIX IT AND DEAL WITH DACE. Dace are not even regesturd with the Motor ombludsman yet on the website it says trusted dealerships RUBBISH Reviewed on: 16th September 2022

Would give 0 stars if I could!!!!

I started with Oodle back in 2019. This was my first finance and I was pretty happy. Unfortunately my car was written off within the first year. Contacted Oodle to sort everything out and get a new car on finance and transfer the remainder of my finance from my written off car to my new finance but was told I had to get a more expensive car for this to happen. Got a new car £6,500 + whatever was left over from my car finance. 2nd car written off, told Oodle but didn’t get a new car with them. Agreed to keep paying what was left after insurance paid out. 2020 - covid hit and I was made redundant. Called Oodle to let them know and they were unhelpful. Agreed to put me on a payment holiday. You could imagine my surprise when I started getting letters through telling me I was being charge a late payment fee and my account was in arrears. Straight away contacted them and received an email telling me the payment holiday was authorised but not put through on their side properly. They then set this up but I would still receive arrears letters and being passed to debt collection agencies and then they started sending me letters demanding I pay off my whole finance within 1-2 weeks due to my vehicle being a total loss but this was roughly 1 year after the accident and after everything was agreed with still making payments etc. unacceptable. Luckily I got some inheritance to pay them off completely and close the account hoping to never deal with them again. Fast forward to 2022. I am not trying to get my first Mortage and the only thing stopping me is my credit report with Oodle. All the holiday breaks were put down as late payment fees and Oodle refuse to change it because they believe it is correct after I have shown the physical proof it is not correct and needs to be changed. I cannot stress enough how much I DO NOT recommend this company. No communication, constantly chasing them for updates and information, rude, unhelpful and I hope once this issue is resolved I never have to ever contact them again. Worst decision of my life was ever getting finance through Oodle. STAY AWAY!!!!! Reviewed on: 15th March 2022
